What I know about him is that he has been a member of Troop 380 for approximately 12 years. I know that he is a freshman at Colorado Christian University. I noted his parents, Mary Ann and Michael, who are in the audience. I'd like for them to come up and be by his side as we talk about him. I also know that he has a sister by the name of Amy Ann. If she's here, I'd love her to come up as well. Okay, she's not here with us. That's fine. I know that this young man, even though he's at school at Colorado Christian University, he's also an assistant scoutmaster in Colorado while he's in school as well. So, this is what I know about him from a background standpoint. But the honor I had of being with him on November 20th was to see him presented with the highest medal of honor, the Cross Palm Medal of Honor. This is the highest level of heroism awarded to a scout or leaders of the Boy Scouts of America.
