Does Eagle Palm gold look better on college applications than just?
I have not met anybody outside of the BSA who knew what Eagle Palms were. Most people seem to know what Eagle Scout means (or, at least, that its good to be one), but not palms. In the BSA, it does look impressive to have palms. My one friend from scouts insisted up and down that we all needed to earn our palms. I dont think he ever actually earned any. I never had time to earn any palms, and it isnt one of my regrets through my scouting career. And for the record, the highest palm is silver. It goes bronze, gold, then silver, just like the military.
